Parent Coaching
There is no instruction booklet on parenting in general, and when your child is diagnosed with ADHD, it’s not uncommon to feel extremely overwhelmed and frustrated. It can be a stressful and exhausting journey. We all want to see our child succeed in school and in life. A diagnosis of ADHD can present many challenges within the family, school and social settings. When you take care of yourself, you are better able to take care of your child. Robyn will support you and give you tools to manage your stress.

Parent training is recognized as a crucial part of treatment for children with ADHD. Robyn Provides direct parenting support and offers the highly acclaimed Calm And Connected: Parenting Children with ADHD© by Cindy Goldrich, PTS coaching - a workshop series.
Using a combination of education and coaching, the workshop will help clients develop specific tools, techniques and strategies to:

reduce chaos and challenging behaviors

set realistic and effective rules and boundaries

help your child capitalize on their strengths and increase self-esteem

reduce homework stress for you and your child

help your child manage frustration
Robyn will:

Help you recognize your strengths and set realistic goals

Work with you to improve communication between you and your child so that you are able to provide your child with the necessary support and encouragement

Support and motivate you to stay positive, calm and focused, so that you are better able to connect with your child, helping him/her to be calm and focused as well
Our goal is that every parent of a “complex” child receives the understanding and support they need to be a calm, empathetic, informed, and supportive advocate for their child.

If you have an HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account), you may be able to use that for coaching sessions. Please check with your account provider. Coaching is not covered by health insurance.

Coaching sessions are held virtually via Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime.
